My name is Chelsea, also known as your Wedding Biz Bestie.

I am a wedding venue operator, event business owner, and systems-focused strategist with over 15 years of experience leading and operating service-based businesses, including eight years in the wedding industry.

I currently serve as the operator of a high-volume wedding and event venue, overseeing operations, strategy, client experience, vendor coordination, staffing, timelines, and execution. I’ve been directly involved in selling and delivering over $7M in event bookings across 900+ weddings and large-scale events, which has given me a full-picture understanding of how weddings - and wedding businesses - actually function behind the scenes.

In addition to venue operations, I own and operate businesses in event consulting and services, including an event staffing and bartending company. This means I understand weddings and events not only from a vendor and client-facing perspective, but also from an operational, financial, and logistical one.

I work regularly alongside planners, coordinators, photographers, videographers, florists, DJs, caterers, rental companies, and specialty vendors. I see how businesses price their services, communicate with clients and vendors, and how internal systems impact both the professional experience and the client experience.

My background has given me deep exposure to:
